Here are some random things for you to read while you are wasting time!

My head hurts a little, but I don’t care, because I get off work in 30 minutes, and I am headed to the beach! I will be there until Sunday. I will try and post some pictures if I remember to take any there!

Two different people asked me to speak to a group today. I turned them both down because I get so very nervous in front of people. One request was to speak to the church about Bible studies, and another was to do a green/environmental program for a garden club. I really don’t think I’m qualified for that, but I couldn’t do it anyway because of my silly nerves. I do wonder what these people see that would make them even think I would be good at that. It’s kind of nice!

My hot pink mystery office plant is doing exceptionally well. I really hope Jeanne remembers to water it Friday! I secretly told the plant I loved it as I watered it today. 🙂

My mom will be here in about 3 hours! I am excited I can spend some good time with her. It will be the first time in years, probably. It’s been at least a couple of years since I’ve seen her for more than 48 hours at a time.

I am excited to go to Stokin’ the Fire this year because 1. I love BBQ, and 2. Manchester Orchestra will be there…hey hey heyyyy!

Congrats to Robert & Lizzie for having their baby girl! Her name is Egan. I heard she has enough hair for every baby in the hospital at the moment. I wanted to go visit, but we don’t have time to go before our trip.

I am terribly scared of sharks, and I heard jellyfish are everywhere right now. Wish me luck! Since it’s Discovery’s Shark Week, I have tried hard to avoid those shows! I’ve seen them all before anyway. Do they not ever get new shark shows?

August has tons of birthdays, including Brian’s, my mom’s, and Sheena’s! I am proud of myself because I already have one thing for Brian, and Sheena’s gift is taken care of. Booyah. If only I could get started on Christmas gifts! I don’t even wanna think about it.

We have an oddly large number of doctors/med students in our Sunday School class. Weird.

I am not sure I believe people when they say their eyes change colors with different moods.

However, I am sure I believe in ghosts now. That does not mean I want to experience one. Please stay away!

I have worked 30 hours a week for almost 3 years. I really don’t know if I can handle going back to 40 if I ever do so! I would love to come up with my own money-making venture on the side and just work a real job part-time forever (or stop, depending on my own thing).

It’s almost time to get off work, so I will leave it at that.

GOOD THING: my mom will be here soon!
BAD THING: long time in the car tomorrow, and I pee a lot!
